Welcome to rise, the studio offering you small group personal training, we’re just off Island Road in Upstreet [between Canterbury and Thanet]. If you’re looking for fitness training, we’ll give you that, and so much more.
As we get older, it is even more important that we give our bodies the support they need to be able to continue doing the things we love to do in life through strength and fitness training; whether that’s maintaining the strength to do the work you love to do, the fitness to keep up with the kids/grandkids playing in the park or fulfilling the caring responsibilities you have.
By offering personal training in small groups we can give you and your body the support it needs to improve mobility, build strength, gain confidence and stay capable.

We are Poppy and Lewis – proud parents of two energetic boys. balancing the roles of coaching, leading a business and parenting, we understand what it takes to juggle life and include exercise… That’s why we’ve created an environment that works to help you do the same.
Of course your health, fitness and strength is important to you, but we know that it might be intimidating starting from scratch or picking it up again; we’re here to support you to feel great and build your capability for the future.

Training for your real life
You’ve never lifted weights before? No problem, we coach you and educate you so that you understand what you’re doing and why. Not many people join us already loving the gym, most people would not consider themselves ‘gym people’; but they soon realise that getting fitter and stronger is about more than just the gym.
Are you concerned about doing it correctly? You’re never left to your own devices here, this is personal training so you are supported through the whole session to ensure your workout is effective and enjoyable.
Perhaps you’re not sure if strength training is right for you? Every person we’ve coached over the past 11 years has noticed incredible benefits to their everyday life from including strength training in their routine. The movements you’ll perform with us are selected to support giving you more freedom to move and be active everyday. Strength training has such carry over into so many other areas of your life, it really can be transformational. You’ll very quickly notice the difference.
You’re wondering whether personal training is the best approach for you? If you’re contending with any mobility issues or niggling injuries then the personal training approach will allow us to find what your body needs. For lots of us, trying to work out what to do, and how to do it is the biggest barrier to getting started resistance training; we take care of that for you.
